Investor Documentation & Sales Procedures:

There are a variety of ways to obtain financing for independent motion pictures.

Whether your project is big or small, there are many important considerations in financing independent films. Mr. Wilke currently represents one LLC raising $90 million to produce an independent motion picture. On the other end of the scale, one of his biggest joys to date has been preparing the investor documentation and doing legal work for tiny Ginny Mule Pictures’ 2002 Oscar winning live-action film short, “the accountant.

Mr. Wilke spends a great deal of his time preparing investor documentation for independent film producers, and other people establishing Internet, hi-tech, music, video television and other creative enterprises. He prepares business plans, or can review and make suggestions regarding your business plan. He counsels his clients on the best methods available under current federal and state law to raise money from private investors (commonly known as “Reg. D” private placement offerings). He will guide you through the “do’s and don’ts” of movie fundraising. He can also prepare public offering documentation, and do the necessary federal and state registration and sales reporting filings.

In addition, if you are currently experiencing a problem with securities enforcement authorities or have an unsettling situation with an investor in your movie project, Mr. Wilke can also assist you in dealing with the situation and arriving at the best possible solution given the particular circumstances.
